I was perusing the shelves of books at Indigo today, and came across a compilation of Vivian Maier’s previously undiscovered work. I was blown away by the emotion this amazingly gifted woman was able to capture on film. Miss Maier took loads of pictures between the 1950’s and 1990’s, but shared her images with no-one. Many rolls of film remained undeveloped. This particular image of a Crying Child tugged at my heartstrings, and, by virtue of its evocative nature, is awesome.
