I seem to be burning the candle at both ends lately, and it’s finally catching up with me. It’s also been super-hot out (YAY!), so today I was happy to just take it easy. We all have to do that sometimes, especially Moms and Dads. Lazy days are awesome.

Melting Ice Cream Truck

I’m not a huge fan of the ice cream truck. They always seem to come around just before supper, and I find them creepy. That music they’re playing gives me the willies, too. Anyhow, I saw this pic in my FB feed, and it resonated with me. The melting ice cream truck pic below is awesome.

I’m super-glad the rain has stopped, at least for today. The sun is shining brightly, and the birds are chirping a wonderful cacophony of song. Without the bleakness that rainy days bring, it’s possible to witness the colours only sunshine can illuminate. Sunshine and Spring colours are awesome.
